RMPT Diagnosis ("the App") is developed and operated by RepairMyPhone.today. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information and is fully compliant with Google Play Store Developer Program Policies, including the Personal and Sensitive Information policy, Permissions policy, and all applicable data safety requirements.

RMPT Diagnosis is a browser-based diagnostic tool. All processing happens on-device. We may read the following data solely to display diagnostic results:

• Device hardware info (screen size, pixel ratio, CPU cores, RAM)
• Network connection type and estimated speed
• Browser capabilities and supported Web APIs
• Battery level and charging status (read-only via Battery Status API)
• Sensor availability (accelerometer, gyroscope, GPS API presence)

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, call logs, SMS messages, photos, or financial information.

All diagnostic data is processed entirely on-device within your browser. No results are transmitted to our servers. Data is used exclusively to generate your real-time device health report and provide personalised repair recommendations.

The App may request the following permissions, each with a clear user-facing purpose:

• Camera / Microphone — detect hardware availability only. No audio/video is captured or stored.
• Location (optional) — confirm GPS functionality. Not stored or transmitted.
• Device Sensors — test accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer availability.
• Network State — measure connection quality for diagnostics.

All permissions are requested only when a scan is initiated, consistent with Google Play's Permissions policy.

• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties
• We do not use data for advertising or profiling
• We do not access contacts, messages, or call history
• We do not collect financial or payment information within the App
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13

The App uses browser local storage solely to remember your last scan results within the session. No tracking cookies or cross-site identifiers are used. You can clear this data via your browser settings at any time.

The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries. External links (repairmyphone.today, careers page, blog) are governed by their respective privacy policies.

RMPT Diagnosis is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us at Ranjot@repairmyphone.today and we will delete it immediately.

Since all diagnostic data is processed locally, clearing your browser data or app cache fully removes all stored information. For other enquiries, contact Ranjot@repairmyphone.today.

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
